Want feedback on your design?
In this section, I'll pick a different designer each week and review their fashions.
Here's how it will work:
The designer must submit six fashions, unwatermarked (so I can judge them on the model better).
Each day I will review a different one. It will be rated out of 10 stars and you will get feedback.
On the seventh day I'll rate you as a designer based on the six fashions you submit and everything else I've seen you do. I will also give you "suggested fashions" to design that I think will help you improve.
When you are reviewed, you can choose to be anonymous or have your name published. All fashions and reviews will be posted on this page.
BEWARE, I WILL BE BRUTALLY HONEST. DON'T TAKE MY COMMENTS AS MEAN OR INSULTING, THEY ARE ONLY MEANT TO HELP.
If you would like to participate you can PM me on DS. Click here to go to my contact page on my profile. Please include all six fashions in the PM. Whenever you are chosen to be "coached" I will PM you telling you. This will start on Sundays (I may not be able to design coaches in on the exact days-I'm really busy. They will get up before the end of the week. If for some reason they don't, they will continue into the next week).
Past "Design Coaches" will be under the archives section.

I love the choice of colors! The eyes and eyeshadow compliment each other very nicely. Like usual I'll start at the top...The eyebrows. Just because they're tiny doesn't mean they don't need shading! Enlarge the model (don't zoom in) when creating makeup so you can add all the details. Also, your makeup is exactly symmetrical. Try and show little differences between each: ex. slightly different shape. Lastly, there's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much eyeliner. It looks like you colored half her eye black. In the future, just a thin line of eyeliner will work. As a guide, make sure you can see a majority of the eyeball, instead of just half.

Monday's Design
In this hair, the lines are too thick. Instead of individual strands of hair, they're more like clumps. On the left side of the hair (the bang), it looks like she just has a bang and no hair underneath it. Make a portion of the top hair thats just on the head, and make a portion bang. Also on the side, the hair is too thin. Try and give it more body and volume...make it wider I guess? I do really like the shading on the bottom part on the hair. Nice job with that!

Wow! This has to be the best design I've ever seen from you. The shading on the majority of the dress is fabulous! The only part that needs work is the bottom. I can't tell whether the pieces hanging off are completely disconnected from each other or whether there's supposed to be a cutout pattern on the bottom of the dress. If you were going for the first option, add clearer shadows and some highlights. If you were trying for the second option, take away the shadows between the pieces and just shade them normally.

These boots are pretty good! The biggest thing to watch is the line separating the legs. It should line up with the model's legs, but it doesn't and looks off. Overall your shading is great. The only other thing that needs some work is your shape. Even though the shoes may be tight to the model, you need to allow a little extra space. For example, if you put on a pair of boots, are they skin tight? No. They have a little room for your feet/legs. The shoe should be wider than the foot.

Always make sure you clean up your designs! Above the shoulders there are very visible blurred marks. The majority of the shading on the dress is very good. The first part that needs work is under the breasts. Right now there is almost no shading there. Add some dark and light values. Also, one other tiny thing. On the sides of the dress, you can see the outline of the model still somehow? Make sure to cover that up and make the design fluent.

Friday's Design
This dress is even better than the one up there! Just a couple of areas of shading to work on. On the bottom part of the dress (the mermaid part), you need a looooooooot more dark shading. You have the highlights down, but you need the dark shades to create the folded look. Also, the shading on the crotch is too dark. Lighten it a little so it blends in more with the rest of the shading. One more small thing. on the right sleeve, don't leave it as a straight line. Curve it to the model like you did the other sleeve.
